We are now accepting applications for this year's Betty Endicott Scholarship recipient. Both full-time undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Applicants must be studying for a career in communications and/or broadcast journalism. Scholarships will range from $1,000 to $5,000 (not to exceed $5,000), depending on the number of scholarships awarded. Deadline to apply is Thursday, April 24, 2025. Apply now!
Eligibility Requirements for Applicants
Be enrolled in an accredited two or four year college or graduate program in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC
Be a full-time sophomore, junior or graduating senior with a declared major in communications or broadcast journalism
Be a full-time graduate student in pursuit of an advanced degree in either communications or broadcast journalism
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Demonstrate an aptitude or interest in communication or broadcast journalism through coursework, extracurricular activities, internships, jobs and volunteer work
National Scholarships
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences offers several scholarships to students.
Applications for national scholarships are now available and are due on Monday, March 31, 2025. There is one standard application for all scholarships. Students select which scholarship(s) they believe they qualify for and provide the same set of core materials for consideration. NATAS Trustees and officials with the National Scholarship Committee will review applications and creative works along with participation from Univision Communications Inc.
